Fire Warden / Floor Warden Manual

Fire Safety Plan Procedures for your Wardens

Floor / Fire Warden Fire and Life Safety Manual

When you purchase your WPS Fire Safety Plan or Multi-Hazard Emergency Action Plan, you will receive Floor Warden manuals for every Warden. It is very important that all emergency personnel have copies of their roles and responsibilities as set out in your Fire Safety Plan.

A network of tenant representatives or employees are selected and trained to help execute a thorough and effective Fire Safety Plan.  These Wardens are designated to particular areas of a facility and are essential to the overall integrity of the disaster response.

Each Floor Warden manual contains building-specific fire procedures and responsibilities based on the building’s Fire Safety Plan. Also found in the manual is a facility description and a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) floor plan, which pertains to the floor or area that each Warden is responsible for. The manuals also contain a designated and pre-determined fire evacuation assembly area map so everyone knows where to go upon evacuation.
