WPS Emergency Response Online Training Programs:

Each online training session is approximately one hour. Upon completion of the training session, there is a quiz at the end that records personnel’s attendance and provides access to a printable Certificate.

Multi-Hazard Emergency Response Training:

This training course will prepare participants for a multitude of hazards, including: fire, earthquake, tornado, suspicious package and bomb threat, power failure, as well as teach them shelter-in-place and evacuation procedures for each threat. Participants will also learn about the building’s life safety systems and the importance of planning for an emergency and training to ensure they know the plan and their specific roles and responsibilities during an emergency or disaster.

This training session has been customized for each of the following specific emergency personnel:

• Building Response Team
• Floor Wardens
• School Incident Commander
• School Response Team
• Teachers

Fire Emergency Response Training

This training course will prepare participants for a fire emergency. It will also teach them evacuation procedures in the event of a fire emergency. Participants will also learn about the building’s life safety systems and the importance of planning for an emergency and training to ensure they know the plan and their specific roles and responsibilities during an emergency.
