Emergency Plan Overview
WPS Disaster Management Solutions helps its customers develop and implement state-of-the-art facility emergency response programs. Since 1980 WPS Disaster Management Solutions has been helping corporations, building owners and property/facility management companies develop and implement Emergency Management Programs throughout North America. Our many years of experience in this field combined with our state-of-the art ICS-based facility emergency plan has awarded WPS the recognition by our many clients to be a leader in this field. Today, more than 4,000 plans have been created.
WPS specializes in planning at three levels within business and government today: corporate, facility and tenant.
CORPORATE PLAN designed for companies with multiple building portfolios that demand a central, or "hub", plan be established. This ensures that the area executives have a plan to oversee their entire portfolio of offices and/or buildings in order to respond effectively.
FACILITY PLAN specifically addresses a particular building or facility. At this level of planning, WPS obtains data about the building and its people in order to develop a site-specific plan. There are many buildings throughout North America that currently use the WPS Facility Emergency Plan. These include commercial office buildings, shopping malls, government buildings, schools, theatres, hotels, resorts and industrial parks.
TENANT PLAN dedicated to a tenant within a building. The WPS Tenant Emergency Plan is developed and implemented specifically for the business or company to enhance their life safety program for their staff and employees. This plan is designed to have continuity with the WPS Facility Emergency Plan and in default of a building emergency plan, or should the building personnel not be available to direct or assist in a crisis or disaster, the client will respond and execute on its own.
